Editorial Policy
Standards for independent research, sourcing, corrections and commercial separation.
Independence
Editorial conclusions should be based on the available evidence and the needs of the shopper. Commercial compensation may be recorded for business analysis but should not be represented as product quality.
Sources
We prefer original manufacturer documentation, merchant terms, recognized technical references, reputable independent reporting and other sources that are relevant to the specific claim. Sources should be recorded in the CMS when they materially support a page.
Claims and uncertainty
We distinguish specifications, seller claims, independent verification and unresolved uncertainty. We avoid fabricated testimonials, fake reviews, unsupported superlatives, fake scarcity and financial-result promises.
AI-assisted work
Automation may help with research organization, drafting, classification or media workflows. Material claims and publishable recommendations still require appropriate source review. Automation must not invent tests, sources, credentials or experiences.
Commercial relationships
Commercial participation does not guarantee coverage or a positive verdict. When compensation can result from a reader action, the required disclosure is presented near the relevant commercial content.
