How We Review
Our review method separates product facts, seller claims, independent evidence and commercial terms.
1. Define the purchase question
We start with the shopper's decision: what the product is, who it may suit, which alternatives matter and which criteria are likely to affect the purchase.
2. Collect product facts
We review available specifications, product documentation, merchant pages, program terms, warranty/return information and other primary sources when available.
3. Separate claims from verification
Seller or manufacturer statements are labeled and are not automatically treated as independently verified facts. We record what could be verified and what could not be verified.
4. Compare practical tradeoffs
Where useful, we compare price, features, intended use, warranty, shipping, return terms, seller restrictions and relevant alternatives. A ranking or score is an editorial estimate, not a guarantee of satisfaction or performance.
5. Review commercial eligibility
Before paid promotion, the offer should be checked for merchant/program approval requirements, platform restrictions, brand-bidding rules, trademark restrictions and landing-page quality. Unknown rules remain unknown until reviewed; the system should not treat missing information as permission.
6. Update material information
Pages should show an updated date when product data, offers or meaningful editorial conclusions change. Outdated offers may be paused or archived.
Physical testing disclosure
AisleBeacon never invents hands-on testing. Unless a page explicitly describes a physical testing process, the review basis is publicly available specifications, seller information and independent research.
